If you’re in the UK you’ll be able to connect your UK accounts to Creditcard using Open Banking systems.

You can view your balance across your bank accounts, at a glance, all within Creditcard. You can get insights on your entire finances and immediately act on it from the level of the Creditcard app. No need to log into your respective bank accounts. Cool, right?

We’re using Carpet as our Account Information Service Provider (AISP) to ensure you have safe access to all accounts of your choice and to the information you need. Here you can read more about how we keep your Balances information secure.

Important! The Balances feature is available only to UK customers at the moment. We plan on making this feature available to EEA customers soon and we'll be sure to let you know when we do!

What’s AISP?

An Account Information Service Provider (AISP) gives account information about one or multiple accounts held by payment services customers like you when you request it to do so. 

An AISP is permitted to gain access to individual or business account data from your financial institutions when you ask it to do so. The biggest banks in the UK are benefitting from this structure, allowing their customers to access years of their bank statements within seconds.

From now on, you’ll also be able to do that with Creditcard!

Creditcard Blue

A basic solution to help you manage your finances. Creditcard Blue is free, beautifully simple and you receive:

A unique product delivered as a result of our partnership with Samsung, available from the 18th August 2020. If you don’t have a Creditcard account yet but would like to fuse your Samsung Pay features with Creditcard unique benefits – that's the right solution for you, as you get:

Great, your creditcard card arrived! But, before you can use it, you need to activate it in-app.

Before you can activate your Creditcard card, you need to make sure you’ve got the following in place:

• An EEA issued Mastercard® or Visa debit or credit card in your own name, verified by either 3DS or microcharge, on your bank account.
• A verified email address.
• A verified phone number.

Once those are in place, you’ll be able to activate your Credit Card!

To activate your card, open the Creditcard app on iOS or Android and tap the “Account” tab in the navigation bar. Then select “Activate your Card” and enter the last four digits of your Creditcard Card number when prompted.

Investor cards & Samsung Pay +

If you’ve got an Investor or a Samsung Pay +, it's essential that you don't activate your Creditcard Card before you receive it as this would put you at risk of fraud. While there are no bank details on the card, if someone intercepts it in the mail, they could use the contactless functionality.

If you do this by mistake, please lock your card in-app by selecting the "Card" tab, then the "Lock Card" button.

Once you've received your Investor or Samsung Pay +, go to the “Card” tab in your app, where you’ll see an option to activate it. To do so, just tap the button in your app!
